Well, I find this ironic.  I finally start posting again, but no one goes on!!! :( 

Well, I went to baseball practice today.  I got hurt twice: one a grounder took a bad bounce and hit me right in the face.  Then, I blocked another grounder with my leg, which left a big ol’ bruise.  It hurt very badly!

Well that report is due tomorrow.  I’m a little nervous, but oh well.  I’m doing the report with Justin and 2 other people.  We’re doing necrotizing fasciitis, or flesh eating disease.  It’s very disgusting.  Big black boils form and the tissue underneath your skin is “eaten” away by bacteria.  I have to do the history in the report, and there’s really not a whole lot of history, other than Hippocrates describing it and in the Civil War it was common and blah blah blah.  Anyway, the pictures of it on the internet like this 1: http://www.jyi.org/volumes/volume5/issue8/images/hu_1.jpg.  If you want to be completely grossed out, look at it.

I’m in the majors for little leage.  We’re the Chicago White Sox.  So far we have only lost 1 game, against the Texas Rangers.  We would have won, but a kid hit a grand slam with the bases loaded.  So that scored them 4 extra runs, making us lose.  The rest we have won, making us first place in the north leage.  My coach is very proud.  He is very devoted.  He takes us to get extra practice (if we want) at 7:00 a.m on Saturday.  He also goes to the batting cages every week, letting us come.  I’m one of the best outfielders.  Coach hit 10 pop flies, and I only dropped 1.  This team is better than any other team I have ever been on.  We have 1 practice and 2 games every week.  Right now we’ve played 5 games out of 20.  I don’t want the season to end! 

Today at P.E, someone accidently hit me in the mouth with a tennis racket.  it hurt, pretty badly.  I didn’t know how bad it was.  When my mom came after school, she said I had a fatlip, which is when your lip swells and gets all puffy.  It was a little puffy on the left side of my mouth.  My P.E teacher didn’t know I was hurt.  I would have gone to the nurse’s office.  I went home to show my dad.  He said it will last another day.  He said it look like i got in a fight.  I looked into the mirror.  I really did have a fatlip!  There was even some dried blood!  Anyway, I’m okay now.  I’ve been hurt worse anyway.

I almost forgot about camp!  We did all sorts of things up there.  We looked at Owl Pellets.  They were gross at first, but then i thought of the gray stuff as cotton candy.  We did ropes course, which was a little scary.  We worked with compasses.  We ate food.  The food was actually good!  It was gourmet.  While Grace was down and eating cereal, I was eating bacon, cinnamon buns, pancakes, eating like a king!  Justin and Ty were in my camp, so that was nice.  There were 9 or us total, but we had 1 bathroom!  My counselor was cool.  His name was Gym (Yes that’s how it’s spelled).  He told us a story.  It was kinda scary, kinda funny.  I slipped down like 15 feet off the mountain.  I was so scared!  I thought I would go all the way down and crash into a tree and fall into a deep, cold, river or something.  But a tree broke my slip at about 15 feet.  Adam (no thanks to KAHMAL!!!!) helped me up.  I was like paralyzed!  I could barely move.  I would be all wet from the snow without my heavy Jackey and Snow Pants.  I know this will make me sound like a nerd, but I actually MISSED T.V and the computor and stuff!  I missed the pig!!!!!!!!!!

For a friend’s birthday, I went to Citywalk by Universal Studios.  They had a million stores there.  They had Dark Horse Comic Books, Ben & Jerry’s, Jamba Juice, a Nintendo store, Sparkys, and other stores.  I got a flying pig at a toy store!  You hook it to a string attatched to the ceiling, put batteries into it, and it will flap its wings and go around in a circle.  I saw it fly myself at the store.  I ate at Buca Di Beppo, an Italian restaurant, so I got home at like 10:30, so I didn’t have time to set up my flying pig!!!!!  

For Justin’s bday, we went to the Wild Animal Park at the zoo.  I saw meercats, flamingos, condors, monkeys, zebras, giraffes, Ethans (wildabeasts), rhinos, antelopes, and other animals.  I got to feed a giraffe!  I got to see an endangered rhino up close, and other cool animals.  At the gift shop, I got a lollypop thing, and a carved, hollow, wooden frog that you beat with a stick to use as an instrument.  Once I got home, I saw a wild boar, the pig.
